This 6-day safari is perfect for animal lovers! You’ll visit some of Tanzania’s best parks, starting with Tarangire, where you’ll see elephants and baobab trees. You’ll then visit Lake Manyara, home to tree-climbing lions and flamingos. After that, you’ll spend two full days in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and searching for the Big Five and other amazing animals. Finally, you’ll visit Ngorongoro Crater, a magical place full of wildlife. This safari is a perfect mix of adventure, nature, and fun!
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where a friendly Safari Expert representative will warmly welcome you. From there, you will transfer to your accommodation at Lindrin Lodge in Moshi. Relax and enjoy amenities like the swimming pool and Wi-Fi. In the evening, attend a briefing with experienced managers to help you prepare for your climb. Overnight stay includes breakfast.
After breakfast, you’ll meet your guide who will take you to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Tarangire is famous for its large elephants and giant baobab trees. After you check-in at your lodge, you’ll go on your first game drive to see animals like lions, giraffes, and zebras. In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
On your second day, you will start with an early morning game drive in Tarangire to see more animals before you leave for Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch, you will drive to Lake Manyara (about a 2-hour drive). Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the large numbers of flamingos that visit the lake. When you arrive, you’ll go on a game drive to see lions in trees, elephants, giraffes, and many birds. You’ll spend the night in a lodge near the park.
Today, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous parks in the world (it will take around 4-5 hours). Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and large populations of animals. You’ll spend the whole day in Serengeti on a game drive, looking for the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. You’ll also see wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. If you’re lucky, you might witness the incredible wildebeest migration (depending on the time of year). After your exciting day, you will stay at a lodge inside the Serengeti.
Today, you will have another full day of safari in Serengeti. Serengeti is so big, and there’s so much to see, so you will explore different areas of the park. You’ll go on a morning game drive when animals are most active, and you may see predators like lions or cheetahs hunting. In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive to see more animals and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Serengeti has many areas to explore, from the grassy plains to the riverbanks, and there’s always something exciting to see. You’ll return to your lodge for another relaxing night in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive in Serengeti to catch any animals you may have missed. After lunch, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater (about 3-4 hours away). Ngorongoro Crater is a large, collapsed volcano that is full of animals. You’ll spend the night at a lodge on the rim of the crater, where you can enjoy incredible views.
On your last day, you will go on a morning safari inside Ngorongoro Crater, which is like a giant natural zoo. The crater has many animals in one place, including rhinos, buffaloes, lions, and elephants. After enjoying the safari, you will have lunch and then drive back to Arusha for your flight or other travel plans.
