This 7-day safari takes you to some of the most amazing places in Tanzania. You’ll start in Tarangire, famous for its elephants and baobab trees. Then, you’ll visit Lake Natron, home to beautiful flamingos. After that, you’ll spend two full days exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll see the Big Five and possibly witness the wildebeest migration. You’ll also visit Ngorongoro Crater, a giant natural zoo, and end your adventure with a visit to Lake Manyara, famous for its tree-climbing lions. This safari is perfect for anyone who loves animals, nature, and adventure!
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where a friendly Safari Expert representative will warmly welcome you. From there, you will transfer to your accommodation at Lindrin Lodge in Moshi. Relax and enjoy amenities like the swimming pool and Wi-Fi. In the evening, attend a briefing with experienced managers to help you prepare for your climb. Overnight stay includes breakfast.
After breakfast, you’ll meet your guide who will take you to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Tarangire is famous for its large elephants and giant baobab trees. After you check-in at your lodge, you’ll go on your first game drive to see animals like lions, giraffes, and zebras. In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
After breakfast, you’ll leave for Lake Natron, a special, beautiful lake near Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai. Lake Natron is known for its red-colored water and is a favorite place for flamingos to nest. It will take you about 3-4 hours to get there. Once you arrive, you can take a short walk to the Natron Waterfalls and enjoy the beautiful view. You’ll also have a chance to take amazing pictures with the flamingos and the surrounding scenery. You’ll spend the night at a lodge near Lake Natron.
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife parks in the world. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, but it’s very scenic. Serengeti is known for its wide open plains and the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Once you arrive, you’ll go on your first game drive in the park to see many animals. After a fun day, you’ll stay overnight at a lodge inside Serengeti, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
Today, you will have a full day of exploring Serengeti. You will start early in the morning for a game drive, when animals are most active. You might see lions hunting, or large herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains. Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration, where millions of animals move across the park each year (depending on the season). After a long and exciting day, you’ll return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Today, you will have another full day of safari in Serengeti. You’ll continue your game drives to explore different parts of the park. You might see more predators like cheetahs and hyenas, as well as gazelles and topis. Serengeti is huge, so there’s always something new to see, whether it’s animals, beautiful landscapes, or the river where crocodiles live. After another exciting day in the wild, you’ll return to your lodge to rest.
After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater, which is about a 3-4 hour drive. Ngorongoro is a massive volcanic crater full of animals. It’s called the “Garden of Eden” because so many animals live there, all in one place! You’ll drive down into the crater for a half-day safari to see rhinos, lions, elephants, and buffaloes. You can also see hippos and flamingos in the crater’s lakes. After lunch, you will drive to a lodge on the rim of the crater, where you can enjoy stunning views and relax.
On your final day, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is about 2 hours from Ngorongoro. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large numbers of flamingos that live around the lake. You will go on a morning game drive to see the lions in the trees and other animals like elephants, giraffes, and many types of birds. After a fun morning, you’ll have lunch and then drive back to Arusha for your flight or other travel plans.
