2 Days Mid-Range Lodge Safari - Lake Manyara & Tarangire

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town; you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming safari.
- Hotel check in starts at 12:00pm.

Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning after breakfast. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park in the East African Rift Valley. The park is dominated by the lake which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, plus cormorants, pelicans and storks. About 400 different bird species live in the park. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions. During the safari you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many other animal species. In the late afternoon you leave the park and spend the night at your lodge in Karatu.

Day 3: Mto wa mbu - Tarangire National Park - Arusha
After early breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park. Home to one of the largest elephant populations in northern Tanzania, plus many other wild animals. With luck you can spot lions, cheetahs or leopards. The landscape is very diverse with huge baobab trees. In the late afternoon return to Arusha.

Day 4: Depart Tanzania
Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport.
