3 Days Mid-Range Lodge Safari - Arusha, Lake Manyara & Tarangire

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
Airport pickup, transfer to Arusha hotel. Meet guide for briefing.
- Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge

Day 2: Arusha - Arusha National Park - Arusha
By 9:30am arrive at Arusha National Park gate for registration. Accompanied by guide, start 1.5-hour walk to Tululusia waterfall through habitat of buffalos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and monkeys. After rest near waterfall, return to car and continue game-drive around the park. Lunch in special area, continue game-drive, evening transfer to hotel.

Day 3: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park in East African Rift Valley (2 hours). Park dominated by lake attracting large colonies of water birds - flamingos, cormorants, pelicans, storks. About 400 bird species. Famous for tree-climbing lions. Also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos. Late afternoon transfer to Karatu.

Day 4: Lake Manyara - Tarangire National Park - Arusha
Early breakfast, head to Tarangire. One of the largest elephant populations in northern Tanzania. Spot lions, cheetahs or leopards. Diverse landscape with huge baobab trees. Late afternoon return to Arusha.
