5 Days Tanzania Mid-Range Lodge Safari

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town; you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming safari.
- Hotel check in starts at 12:00pm.
- Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Karatu
Pick up at 07:00hrs and transferred to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. Transfer to lodge in Karatu.

Day 3: Karatu - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast head towards Serengeti via Karatu farmlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the heart of wild Africa. Head to Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats. Arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Full day game drive in Serengeti. Depending on time of year, witness the great migration with hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thomson gazelles. Your guide will find the best spots. Migration attracts predators - you might see a kill in action.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive, return for breakfast, another game drive. In Seronera region see wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs. After picnic lunch continue to Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Drive down into the crater. Observe Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. See warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and 500+ bird species. Picnic lunch then drive back to Arusha.
