Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
Airport pickup and transfer to Arusha hotel. Meet guide for safari briefing.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Karatu
Morning drive to Tarangire. Bush savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees. One of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Also see Masai giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and 500+ bird species.

Day 3: Karatu - Serengeti National Park
Travel through Karatu farmlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into Serengeti. See diversified habitats and landscapes. Arrive in Seronera Valley for evening meal.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Full day game viewing. Areas visited depend on migrating herds. Predators follow closely. During short rainy season (Nov-Dec) herds move from north to south. During long rainy season (Apr-Jun) they return north. Guide will find the best spots.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive. Serengeti is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. After lunch drive to Ngorongoro. 20km wide crater is UNESCO World Heritage Site with 25,000+ animals. Witness sunset over crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
Drive into the world's biggest caldera. See black rhinos, gazelles, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, 500+ bird species. Extensive game drive and picnic lunch. Travel to Karatu lodge.

Day 7: Karatu - Lake Manyara - Arusha
Lake Manyara: 400+ bird species, primate-filled forests, grassy plains. Flamingos, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas. Tree-climbing lions, elephants on acacias. Blue monkeys and baboons. Return to Arusha.
